1. Its investment in Hui Xian (B.V.I.) Limited, which in turn holds Hui Xian Investment Limited, the foreign joint venture partner of Beijing Oriental Plaza Co., Ltd., ("BOP") which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. BOP holds the land use right and building ownership rights of Beijing Oriental Plaza,

 

2. Its investment in Chongqing Overseas Investment Limited, which holds Chongqing Investment Limited. Chongqing Investment Limited owns the entire interest in the Chongqing Metropolitan Oriental Plaza Co., Ltd, which is the registered legal owner of the land use rights and building ownership rights of Chongqing Metropolitan Oriental Plaza

 

3. Its investment in Shenyang Investment (BVI) Limited, which in turn holds Shenyang Investment (Hong Kong) Limited (“Shenyang Investment HK”), the foreign joint venture partner of Shenyang Lido Business Co. Ltd (“Shenyang Lido”). Shenyang Investment HK is entitled to 70% interests in Shenyang Lido, which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. Shenyang Lido holds the land use rights and building ownership rights in The Westin Shenyang,

 

4. Its investment in Chongqing Hotel Investment Limited, which in turn holds Highsmith (HK) Limited. Highsmith (HK) Limited owns the entire interest in the Chongqing Oriental Plaza Metropolitan Hotel Co. Ltd., which is the registered legal owner of the land use rights and building ownership rights of Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing, and

 

5. Its investment in New Sense Resources Limited, which in turn holds Chengdu Investment Limited, the foreign joint venture partner of Chengdu Changtian Co., Ltd., (“Chengdu Changtian”). Chengdu Investment Limited is entitled to 69% interests in Chengdu Changtian, which is a sino-foreign cooperative joint venture established in the PRC. Chengdu Changtian holds the land use rights and building ownership rights in Sheraton Chengdu Lido Hotel.

 

THE TOWER OFFICES

The Tower Offices is one of the largest Grade A office developments in Beijing, comprising eight Grade A office buildings. It was named the “Best Offices in Beijing” by Beijing Business Today in 2003, the judging panel of which included the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce. It was also honoured as a “China Top Ten Intelligent Office Building” by China Architectural Culture Center and Economic Daily in 2005.

The Total Gross Floor Area of The Tower Offices is 309,552m, with a Rentable Area of 298,361 sq m. Tower E1, Tower E2 (also named “KPMG Tower”) and Tower E3 (also named “Ernst & Young Tower”) are 18-storey buildings located on the eastern side of Beijing Oriental Plaza, while Tower C1 and Tower C2 are 12-storey buildings located in the central part. Tower W1, Tower W2 and Tower W3 are also 12-storey buildings and are located on the western side of Beijing Oriental Plaza.

The typical floor plates of the office buildings range from approximately 2,500 to 3,000 sq m. The layout of The Tower Offices has been designed to maximize flexibility for tenants with movable flooring.
